The DADO Sketchbook was created between 2012 and 2014, in a state of post-collegiate drift. Each piece was made within 24 hours of its conception, and each was posted to Soundcloud immediately upon completion, along with a pixelated illustration. Most were not premeditated.
The versions you hear now are remastered from mp3s downloaded from Soundcloud, as the original versions, intended to be the initial release of Shape King, were lost in a theft in 2014. This theft resulted in a complete ground-up rebuild of many ideas and techniques that eventually turned into the album DADO v. The Universe.
DADO v. The Universe
DADO v. The Universe was recorded over a period of about two years and worked on across the United States. It was released in May 2016.

Man in Space was based in Oakland and existed briefly, long enough to produce one EP and play Slims in SF. This is the first album I mixed and released. I also recorded most parts, with the exception of some drum tracking.
